As December quickly approaches, the countdown to Christmas is about to officially begin. A popular way to mark the time is by using an Advent calendar, in which each day reveals a new trinket until December 25. Typically, these small items are candy or toys. But recently, companies have introduced contemporary advent calendars that are a twist on tradition.
You would expect a conventional Advent calendar to include pictures of Christmas trees, holly and snowmen. The Embroidery Advent Calendar, however, moves away from the holiday-themed illustrations and candy by providing instructions on how to embroider a unique Christmas-themed illustration each day in December.
