Announcement of the 2022 intercollegiate team challenge calendar

The USEA is pleased to announce that the 2022 Intercollegiate Team Challenge calendar is now available! The USEA is thrilled to have 24 Intercollegiate Team Challenges on the calendar in addition to the 2022 USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Championships, which will be held May 21-22 at Chattahoochee Hills HT in Fairburn, Georgia.

Intercollegiate Team Challenges are a fun and flexible way to compete as a team and show off your school spirit. Any school can participate as there is no requirement to participate in a team challenge. But there are two conditions for participating in the 2022 USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Championships. First, the student must be registered as a college member of the USEA and entered on the official team roster. Second, the school must be a current branch of the USEA. Each school must renew its affiliation registration with the USEA for 2022. Click here to renew.

Start planning your season now with the list of intercollegiate team challenges below. Keep in mind that this list may be subject to change. Please continue to check here for updates throughout the year.

About the USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Program

The USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Program was established in 2014 to provide a framework in which eventing teams and individual competitors could thrive at universities and colleges across the country. The USEA is offering a $ 25 discount on annual USEA memberships for current university and college students registered as affiliates with the USEA. Many events across the country now offer intercollegiate team challenges where college competition participants can compete individually as well as as a team with their fellow students. In Intercollegiate Team Challenges, each rider’s score is multiplied by a coefficient appropriate to their level to account for differences in difficulty level, and then the individual scores are added together to determine the team score. Click here to learn more about the intercollegiate eventing program.

The USEA would like to thank Bates Saddles, EQine America Magazine, FITS, Kerrits, RevitaVet, R&J Equine, USEF, World Equestrian Brands and Saratoga Horseworks for sponsoring the intercollegiate eventing program.
