Apple Watch calendar not syncing? Here is the solution!

Using the Calendar app on your favorite Apple Watch makes it very easy to stay on top of your busy schedule. Whether you have a doctor’s appointment, multiple meetings, or need to take the kids to their piano recital; your Apple Watch calendar can help you remember where you need to be when.

Unfortunately, sometimes you look at the Calendar app on your Apple Watch and it shows up blank, even though you have a ton of events in your schedule. This can happen if your Apple Watch Series 6 (or any other model) has stopped syncing calendar data from your iPhone – an annoying problem, but there are solutions! Here’s what you can do to prevent Apple Watch calendar from syncing.

1. Check for updates

Sometimes this solution can be as easy as making sure you have installed the latest update for your Apple Watch. Here’s how!

2. Turn calendars on and off in iCloud on iPhone

Since all of your calendar data is shared through iCloud with your various devices, if your Apple Watch is not syncing your calendar properly, you can try switching calendars from iCloud to try to resolve the issue.

  1. Open Settings

3. Reset sync data on Apple Watch

If you’re having trouble with the calendar not syncing, you can use a setting in the Watch app to restart that connection. After enabling this feature, your Apple Watch contacts and calendars will be erased and replaced with the most recent iCloud sync from your iPhone.

  1. Open the Watch the app.
  2. Press the My watch tongue.
  3. Faucet General.
  4. To select Reset.
  5. Faucet Reset sync data.

It may take a few minutes for all data to sync back to your Apple Watch, so please be patient. If after several minutes of not syncing your Apple Watch calendar, try going to the next steps to resolve the issue.

4. Unpair your Apple Watch

If you’re still having issues with your Apple Watch calendar not syncing, you can try unpairing Apple Watch from your iPhone and then pairing it again after it’s done.

Before doing this, I highly recommend that you backup your Apple Watch, so in case it sometimes happens really wrong during the process, you always have a backup to restore your watch.

If this step still did not resolve the issue, you will likely need to contact Apple directly.

5. Contact Apple Support

Sometimes there are issues that require more in-depth knowledge, and only Apple will be able to help you properly. If you’ve tried all of the above steps and are still having trouble syncing your calendar, you should try contacting Apple Support.
