Do you celebrate International Cat Day, Pizza Day, or Conversation Day like a pirate?
There is a plethora of Observation Days around the world where marketers can share content relevant to their industry, get involved in a movement, or just generate more awareness. But there’s a good chance you probably won’t recognize these days until you see your favorite brand talking about it.
These social media “vacations†are a fun way to connect with new and existing followers who share an affinity for a specific food, fictional character, or pet.
While we don’t suggest sharing content on social media and then adding an irrelevant vacation hashtag to it, these vacations can be an opportunity to promote your brand in a meaningful way. Failure to do so could cause you to miss out on valuable opportunities where your brand can join the conversations that take place between members of your target audience.
